About Savyasachi

First, it was Sherlock Holmes. Then came Hercules Poirot. They were followed by Miss Marple, Perry Mason, James Bond, Jason Bourne, Ethan Hunt and so on. They came to us through novels, short stories, television series, movies and plays. They have entertained us for decades and redefined crime and mystery.
After reading such numerous stories, a young lad in Mumbai aspired to emulate this people. He was born and christened as Anuj Manohar Deshmukh. As he grew up, his parents noticed a unique quality within him. Anuj could do many tasks with both hands. He could bat, bowl, write and do many difficult tasks equally with both hands. His parents realized that he was ambidextrous. They introduced a notification in the official gazette to rename him. Anuj Deshmukh thus became Savyasachi Deshmukh.
In his early years, Savyasachi was inspired by the fictional crime solvers. He was so inspired them that he began writing and directing crime and mystery plays. His plays began to win prizes. He started with the Intra School, progressing to inter school and finally capping it with the prestigious Manibhavan competition, which earned him the Governor’s gold medal.
Though he graduated in commerce and completed his chartered accountancy, the urge to work as a sleuth compelled him to abandon his career as an accountant. He appeared for Indian Police Service examination and topped the examination. He passed the grueling police training with considerable ease and impressed many police trainers in the process. He has now joined the Mumbai Police as an Assistant Commissioner of Police.
Savyasachi is very sharp, witty and pays attention to the smallest details. He believes that the best way to solve the crime is to decipher the mind of the criminal and to visualize the crime story from a beneficiary perspective. Savyasachi since has been able to crack several difficult cases which has made him one of the most sought after police investigator in the one of the world’s best police organization.

She is using this tenure to evolve as an astute police investigator.
